The editorial layout design is part of an assignment for my third year at Open Window. The brief required a magazine design for the company WIRED along with an Icon Set to be designed for one of the articles within the magazine.

It was required that all imagery would be generated by the students. The purpose of the assignment was to teach students the importance of grid layout and how to work well with both imagery and typography to create one artwork.

Another requirement was to create imagery that was suitable for the article itself. Within this design, I have made use of many different styles ranging from illustrations to photographic manipulation to typographic skills.
